Yes, I realize there have been several "Buy a Gun" days.
Here's the beginning of my attempt at it.
What better way to get another weapon by doing it to make a point?
I propose that this November 6th, Election Day, we put the firearm background check system in the dirt through overloading it.
Not after the election, that makes it look like it's the winner who is of concern.
Not before, or it might get chalked up to paranoia over who is expected to win.
On election day.
The point is this. We don't care who you are or what you say you believe to get elected.
Restoration is coming. By ballot or bullet.
The choice is yours.
So, on election day 2012, go buy a gun.
Make it one suited for your AO, and for fighting. A citizen-soldier's weapon.
If this is not feasible for you, buy ammo for a weapon you already own.
Let's make a point, and make some noise.
The snake is rattling, countrymen.
Resist.

I like it. And a great excuse to pick up another evil black gun. :)
ReplyDeleteI like it. I'll start saving my FRNs ; )
ReplyDeleteYou might want to point out guns are an outstanding investment. Look at the Tommy Gun and its worth, or Vietnam era machine guns. Over time gun laws get stricter. Not only will your weapon hold value but it could drastically increase. I could write a paper on this, maybe I should. Bottom line. Gold/Silver/PMs wont immediately help feed you when your hungry, nor will they protect you. Smarten up and buy guns while they are at this price. About ammo. I own a few 40 calibers. Last year ammo was 299 per 1000, now its selling 399. You figure it out. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's also a good day to sell a gun you already own. Break the paper trail."Sorry, but I can't help you. I didn't keep the name of the person I sold it to, Mister .gov representative".
ReplyDeleteWish I could remember where I saw the statement (as best I can remember it) "the private sale of a gun is a patriotic act".
Start the buy the day before, give 'em even more to think of...and in those states that make you wait for your gun despite the nics make your buy the appropriate number of days out. Ramp up the buying activity to peak out and crash the fibbies on the 6th.
ReplyDeleteCooper .357 magnum semi-auto is occupying my eyeballs at the moment, so can't see to make comment. ;)
ReplyDeleteShy III
As a CWP holder I don't have to go through the NICS check, but I'm sure I can find a rationalization to buy that third SIG pistol I've wanted for a while, and put off to acquire other essentials.
ReplyDeleteAnyone with even a snowballs chance in hell of being allowed anywhere near the ticket for this
ReplyDeletefalls election is firmly in the
"we don't give a rats arse about what the people think" camp...with the possible exception of Ron Paul.
Whether we have a "buy a gun" day before the general election, on the day of the election or after the election if it gets reported at all by the MSM it gets reported in a way designed to denigrate and marginalize any and all who bought.
What we say, think, feel or want is irrelevant to the political in crowd. Period. They won't care till they have skin in the game...literally.
Me and my Tribe will participate.
ReplyDeleteI hope the new OD furniture KSG is out by then.
Well... as the originator of Buy A Gun Day in 2003, the tradition is Tax Day as a response to the leftists who seize our property and would suppress our 2nd Amendment rights.
ReplyDeleteOf course any day is a good day.
