Wow, that guy just blew the scale on stupidity. You could try to show him he's wrong with deep philosophical arguments and empirical data, but it would just wiz right over his head or through his empty ears. Every time I start thinking the people at large are generally as thoughtful and logical as I am, that seeming reality is shattered by a person with the intelligence and critical thinking skills of a stone. He's hardly worth the effort. He'll have to sleep in his own bed...

I will paraphrase the drivel into English. The idea that responding to a crime is inadequate and it is therefore natural and right for government to monitor in an attempt to stop crime before it happens.
First, has "monitoring" reduced crime in the UK? Even with more CCTVs per square mile than any other place on Earth?
Second, if it doesn't work on a freaking island, why the hell would you think it would work anywhere else?
This is just another leftist saying, "Let's do it again, but HARDER" while standing on the skeletons of history.

I can only look at such talk (and there is much more of a similar nature in certain places if you know where to look for it) and conclude that it is absolutely impossible for them and me to live in the same society. The only recourse left is murderous violence, because talking gets nowhere - the two sides talk right past each other.
Hell you can't even separate yourself from them - they hunt you down and kill your wife and child. Or wives and children. (Pick your massacre of many.)
