Onto Liberty: How WWIII Starts

Go to OntoLiberty's place and read.

“A strike against Syria or Iran is an indirect strike against Russia and its interests. Russia would lose important positions and allies in the Arab world. Therefore, by defending Syria, Russia is defending its own interests.
“In addition, Russia is thus defending the entire world from Fascism. Everybody should acknowledge that Fascism is making strides on our planet. What they did in Libya is nearly identical to what Hitler and his armies did against Poland and then Russia. Today, therefore, Russia is defending the entire world from Fascism.”

Do you realize what you have just read???  Do you?

Russia has just declared the Moral High Ground on the United States.

I am not sure they're wrong, either.

Do you realize what is going on?

Do you see how avoidable this is, and how inevitable it is becoming?

It's World War One, all over again.

So, this is how it ends.  I always wondered.

Remember.

Hold me to everything I've said on the Iran situation.

Every single word of it.

Please.

  1. Russia has no moral high ground on Syria when they (and China) just voted to support it:

That doesn't mean the USA has to to go in and fix it. The regime has been supported by the Russians/Soviets since before you were born, so how much responsibility do they bear for it? Plenty. The Russians have the amount of moral high ground equivalent to death valley when it comes to Syria.

  2. GardenSERF-

I reject any and all claims, from anyone to "Moral High Ground" as subjective. My point here is that I agree with their analysis concerning the US tendencies to do as they wish with the fates of sovereign nations.

My point is that Russia has claimed it in this case. That means they are building a case to justify any and all actions that they decide to take against the US.

In Russia, Hitler is more of a devil than he is here. The fact that the US is now compared to him in Russian propaganda should be more than a bit concerning.

To illustrate why I think "MHG" claims are subjective, I point to the Russians' own words.

Did Hitler act alone in Poland, or did he have the agreement and full consent of the Soviets?.

One way or the other, Russian war propaganda, and justification is being developed here.

    This is bad, bad juju.

    This won't be like Iraq.

    Not at all.

  3. GardenSerf, regardless of what entity has moral high ground, it appears that the US propaganda machine certainly is claiming said moral high ground ("to stop the massacres" when there evidence of these massacres not really happening http://www.kforcegov.com/Services/IS/NightWatch/NightWatch_12000026.aspx )

In fact, the US just tried to obtain moral cover for war by imposing its will at the UN on Syria, just as we did in Libya before that. I guess Russia and China learned a little something over that one, huh?

  4. The Historic record shows that "Rising Powers" are different in Political & General public perception from "MAJOR POWERS".

The "Rising Powers" are ALWAYS perceived and described (by the MASS MEDIA) as a negative element, while the "MAJOR POWERS" are ALWAYS described as the "PROTECTORS" -- "LIBERATORS" -- "ESTABLISHERS OF DEMOCRACY"!

Watch out who you ACTUALLY believe -- try DESPERATELY to find ACTUAL "on ground" testimony! "EYES ON" testimony!

OTHERWISE, DO NOT "jump on any band wagon" until you've researched and determined -- BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT -- what the ACTUAL events are!

  5. Christian G-

    I agree with you.

How would you suggest readers in America find out the whole truth?

What is truth, what is lies?

    How does one know?

Please, by all means, speak your mind. Try to keep the profanity and vulgarity down to the necessary minimum.

Discussion, debate, dissent- these are good things.

I also welcome comments from Anti-Liberty Extremists as well.
