It would be interesting if the world would turn around and say the equivalent of "You're not the boss of us" to America.
Here's a piece detailing the US' threat to impose sanctions on any nation not toeing its line in regards to Iran.
How long can the US continue to maintain it's "Bull (or elephant) in a China Shop" approach to foreign affairs?
America sends billions of dollars and thousands of lives halfway around the world to enforce its (and its allies') will on Iran, then threatens to impose more (destructive and unintended consequence-ridden) sanctions on other nations that refuse to act as de facto agents of American foreign policy.
For a nation that portrays itself as a bastion of liberty, there sure is a whole lot of coercion flying around.
When the world turns around and tells America, "You're not the boss of me!", the results could be a bit ugly, like what usually happens when the neighborhood bully finally gets his due.
It is coming AP!

Well, for the believers out there, some scholars are of two opinions. American is not mentioned in biblical prophesy for a reason. Or, America is the Whore of Babylon.
ReplyDeleteEither way, it gets its due.
If you don't sanction the sanctions we'll sanction you.
"Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists."
Really, I am embarrassed for my country that we have a bunch psychotics running the country.
I don't think now would be the time to reduce our nuclear arsenal by 80 percent. Assuming that was a Chinese Sub lighting off a Ballistic Missile off our coast a couple years ago, we might not have anything left to retaliate if they get that close and light us up. Not that it would make a difference other than a revenge payback.
