Given the geographical proximity and his dedication to the cause, I can only assume Mike Vanderboegh will be there as well.
Given that Alabama is likely not too hot for me in October, I will make an effort to attend as well. No promises though. My situation is anything but stable.
If you have a beef with Kerodin, STFU and present it to his face then.
I bet -and this is just a guess- that people will be a bit more civilized in real-life.
That goes for Anonymous commenters, as well Mike Vanderboegh and other commenters with community recognized names. Back off until October when you can handle it like a damn man. Not like a teenage girl in a facebook quarrel. Face to face. Like men used to do.
If it's so critical of an issue that you can wreak havoc in the community online over it, then it surely deserves the investment required for you to make it to the October PATCOM linked above.

I will treat any further internet-games-playing-troll personal attacks on Kerodin as coming straight from the mouth of the enemy until such time as these issues can be worked out -or even addressed- mano et mano. Face to face. Whether you're getting a government check or merely doing the work for free doesn't matter. The end result is the same. Division. Disgust. Paralysis. Fail.

You don't like someone's ideas, fine. Address the ideas. Factually. With logic. And reason.

I am just a blog reader and liberty lover, not part of any in-crowd or faction. I don't know the details on what is behind the pissing contest mentioned in the article and I don't care. We are losing freedom at an astounding rate, today the Senate affirmed the right of the Gov.t to dictate matters of faith and morality to the public.
ReplyDeleteResults and outcomes are all that matter and the is a striking need to be focused on those. If you say you will sacrifice your life for freedom, why no your ego.
Mostly what frosty2 said. I have met neither Kerodin nor Mike in meatspace, but I read them both and I respect them both.

ReplyDeleteInternecine conflict was a favorite method of destruction for organizations target by the fibbies in the 60's. They spent a lot of time convincing people that one person dissed another or that one group leader is sleeping with some other leaders wife. Worked like a charm every time. The trick is to recognize it for the psyops it is and man up then move on.

ReplyDeleteAs to the pissing match... I don't care. I have met Mike, I have not met Kerodin. I trust both men the same, which means that I take everything either has to say with a grain of salt. I'm after the information, not the ego.
Saying nothing about either of these men: If a rapist tells you the sky is blue, does that mean he's wrong? I still want to see the rapist punished for his crimes, but the sky IS blue.
Personally I have never met either men and therefore I dont trust either one. As far As I am concerned they are both felonious con-artist snitchs working for the ATF, DEA, DOT, KGB, XYZ or PDQ. I couldnt agree with the statement "dont mess with my childrens future." I like reading their blogs but I know they would never have my back in a fight. Grow up.
